Come along to “I am a Union Woman” a night of female solidarity to celebrate women in the Union movement!

Starting at 7:30pm on Friday 19th July at the Phoenix Live, we’ll have speeches and Q&A’s from women from within the Labour and Union movement including Harlow’s PPC Laura McAlpine, Councillor Lanie Shears (Portfolio Holder for Governance, Equality and Diversity/Chair of Harlow CLP), Unison Eastern and more!

The speeches will be followed by a screening of the 2010 film ‘Made in Dagenham’

To cover the cost of the venue hire, suggested donation entry is £3. We’ll also be seeking donations of toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shower gel, shampoo, soap, razors, shaving cream and other items) for Harlow Foodbank on the night

Drinks and light refreshments will be available to purchase at the bar for very reasonable prices too!
