LABOUR parliamentary candidate for Harlow & the Villages has issued a rallying cry after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called a General Election today.
Chris Vince has described the General Election as a ‘chance to restore hope and pride in our country and our communities’, but warned that the result was anything but a foregone conclusion.
Reacting to the announcement of a General Election, Chris Vince said:
“The Tories have failed and it’s time for change. Harlow is a fantastic place to live, work and invest in and now, more than ever, it needs an MP that can deliver for the people.

“Keir Starmer has changed Labour into a party that rolls up its sleeves and gets to work alongside people to solve the country’s problems.
“Only Labour has a long-term plan that will unleash a decade of national renewal. But the change we need won’t happen by itself. At this General Election we take nothing for granted. My team and I will work hard for every single vote until the polls close at 10pm on Thursday 4 July.”
Chris Vince lives in Harlow and is a Harlow councillor. He works for a local charity that supports
Young Carers having previously worked for a homeless charity and before that was a Maths teacher.
